Art and Environment
The goal and purpose of Art and Environment in the Church is to create a special atmosphere for worship throughout the liturgical year.
Our Art and Environment group which comprises of only seven (7) ladies, willingly and lovingly decorate the Church throughout the year so as to provide a fit, hospitable and meditative space to meet Christ in the Eucharist and in one another.
We meet and plan ahead of each liturgical season and decorate accordingly; mainly through floral arrangements, the use of appropriate banners and altar cloths, etc. However, this can sometimes be very challenging and time consuming due to difficulties in obtaining the necessary flowers and foliage for the task.
